A BIT ABOUT ME –
A BUILDER & GENERALIST,
NÉE JILL OF ALL TRADES
MY THROUGHLINE
Ever since I watched Audrey speak at SXSW on the power of modern-day communities, this became evident that this has been my through-line for my career, for my life – to build things that allow humans to lean in, even if they're not ready to. Lean into discomfort. Lean into opportunity. Lean into things that scare you.
HERE'S HOW I THINK
You know Myers-Briggs, Attachment Styles, Love Languages, etc.? Well, I'm a connector, and I love finding new ways to understand people better. My brain operates in a way that always has me thinking about how I can better understand and connect all the people doing big things with the resources and opportunities they need to thrive. As one person, there's no way anyone could solve all the problems out there on their own. Empathy and experiences are how the most effective solutions are made.
WANNA BE STARTIN' SOMETHING
Think about the most awesome people you know. If you could get them in one room for a design sprint, dang. No idea that comes out of it will be one and the same. If I can be the degree of connection for one person or build the things that allow people to thrive, I'm closer to helping the world solve some unique problems. With my background in robotics and using my college years to travel to crazy hackathons, I'm a true builder,
strategizing opportunities to do better and making it happen. I've done this for as long as I can remember. Always startin' something (in a good way!).
YOU MAY SAY I'M A DREAMER
Now you're thinking, "She must be an idealist. A real the-cup-is-always-half-full type of gal." Sure, and wildly ambitious and driven with a calculated impulsion. When it comes to championing opportunities for others, anything is possible.
I've built my career with this exact mentality, starting with jumping into a full-time role in college to help open up a new product vertical to walking into Charlotte as the Director of an angel investor symposium to create more funding opportunities for early-stage startups – all things I've never done before.
Redefine the rules of the hustle. The OG (aka original, for you kooks) work wingwoman, if you will.

So what's next?
I'm an opportunity champion, building solutions to help people do the things they love. As I lead my awesome 2.0 Team to do exactly this, I take on projects that better equip me to help further this mission of redefining the future of work.
