"F*CK IT. WE'RE JUST GOING TO LEAN IN."

Ever since I watched Audrey speak at SXSW on the power of modern-day communities, this became evident that this has been my through-line for my career, for my life – to build things that allow humans to lean in, even if they're not ready to. Lean into discomfort. Lean into opportunity. Lean into things that scare you.

I'm a connector, and I love finding new ways to understand people better. My brain operates in a way that always has me thinking about how I can better understand and connect all the people doing big things with the resources and opportunities they need to thrive. As one person, there's no way anyone could solve all the problems out there on their own. Empathy and experiences are how the most effective solutions are made.

Think about the most awesome people you know. If you could get them in one room for a design sprint, dang. No idea that comes out of it will be one and the same.

If I can be the degree of connection for one person or build the things that allow people to thrive, I'm closer to helping the world solve some unique problems.

With my background in robotics and using my college years to travel to crazy hackathons, I'm a true builder, strategizing opportunities to do better and making it happen. I've built my career with this generalist mentality, starting with jumping into the world of dry cleaning to innovate without ever sending anything to a dry cleaner to help open up a new product vertical to walking into Charlotte as the director of an angel investor symposium to create more funding opportunities for early-stage startups.

Can you say 'I-M-P-O-S-T-E-R  S-Y-N-D-R-O-M-E?'

Today, I sit as an ecosystem builder, startup consultant, and founder. Redefine the rules of the hustle. The OG (aka original, for you kooks) work wingwoman, if you will. â€‹

NEW YORK TO QUEEN CITY

DIRECTOR, SEED THE SOUTH – CHARLOTTE, NC

The day I stepped into Charlotte, I took on the Southeast's "Silicon Valley" and worked with Collective Hustle to put on their 2nd annual angel investor symposium and early-stage pitch competition, Seed The South, within 6 months. This conference sought out new investors to become angel investors since there isn't enough funding to go around.

I was introduced to the idea of an innovation week for Charlotte through Seed The South; quickly planned and brought in sponsorship to make it happen in under 4 months. And we did it! First-ever, history-in-the-making.
